In the wake of new year vacations, the Iranian Ministry of Foreign Affairs has advised nationals to exercise due caution in case they travel to Turkey.
“Given that new year holidays are approaching and a number of Iranians are planning to travel abroad and in view of the security conditions of Turkey in recent months and presence of concerns for safety of Iranian citizens in the neighboring country, all nationals who intend to visit Turkey are strongly recommended to avoid making unnecessary trips and take all necessary precautions,” the statement issued by Iran’s Foreign Ministry reads.
