Speaking at the 2017 Iran Automotive Industry International Conference (IAIIC), Ambassador of South Korea to Tehran Kim Seung-Ho said his country intended to form closer ties between the two nations and will spare no effort in this regard.
He called for grasping real potentials of Iran in the automotive industry; “as such, interpretation of Iran’s capabilities should never be limited to the huge market of 80 million people since the country enjoys the capacity to produce a wide range of products from small beads to missiles.”
“Engagement with Iran is a necessary component in manufacturing of good cars,” said the official urging foreigners to take the opportunity and realize actual abilities of Iran.
“In view of its people and industrial capabilities, Iran has taken the risk and will soon gain a significant position in the world’s automotive industry providing the opportunity to compete with foreign companies.”
Seung-Ho said Iran was no place to merely sell products of foreign automakers as it remains as a potent partner who rivals foreigners; “healthy and constructive competition will definitely further empower Iranian firms.”
The South Korean ambassador believed that Iranian automotive industries would soon obtain a special place in the world and enter a neck and neck competitions with rivals.
The Iran Automotive Industry International Conference Competitiveness & International Cooperation, organized by the Iran Automotive Industry International Conference will take place from 12th February to the 13th February 2017 at the Tehran International Exhibition Center in Tehran, Iran.
The 4th edition of the conference will cover areas like localization and supply chain, designing and engineering, production cost and productivity, social responsibility of business corporations through emphasizing on environmental fields, regional markets, investment opportunities in supply chain, collaboration models, new technologies, energy and environment, safety as well as Services.
