“Iran and Europe could have good cooperation and dialogue, which can be very contributive to finding ways of cooperation and closing viewpoints,” said Majid Takht-Ravanchi, the Iranian Deputy Foreign Minister for European and American Affairs, on Wednesday, while addressing the members of The Hague Centre for Strategic Studies (HCSS) in the city which homes the Dutch government.
The Iranian diplomat elaborated on the approaches and stances of the Islamic Republic of Iran about the issues of interest between the Netherland and the Islamic Republic of Iran, regional issues, and global concerns.
Referring to the capacities and potentials of the Islamic Republic of Iran in various areas, the senior diplomat highlighted that Iran, as the 70th economy of the world, is ready to attract foreigners’ investments.
“The Islamic Republic of Iran has been playing a very bold role in fighting against terrorism and if the defeat of ISIL is now a near victory, it owes undeniably to the efforts of Iran,” said the Iranian diplomat.
He continued that Iran as the biggest reservoir of gas and oil in the world is ready to export its rich supply of fossil fuel to the green continent.
