“A huge aerospace war game will be staged by the Aerospace Force of the IRGC in very early future,” broke the news Brig. Gen. Amir Ali Hajizadeh, the commander of IRGC Aerospace Force on Friday in a ceremony in the north-eastern city of Sabzevar.
The commander recounted that all the equipment to be used in the war game, including all defensive systems, radars, command centers, and ground-to-air missile equipment, are designed and manufactured by Iranian scientists.
Commenting on the history of military and politics in Iran, the General said that the whole defense budget of Iran in the 8-year span of Saddam’s war against Iran equals one third of the sum of money Saudi kingdom bestowed to Saddam for war against Iran. He underlined that it was not an exaggeration that even for buying barbed wires Iran faced difficulties.
“We are in war even today, as areas of economy, culture, politics, and cyber-space are attacked by semi-hard wars,” noted the commander. “Today, huge sums of money are spent by Al-Saud, some regional states, the Zionist regime, and the US to destabilize the region and if we do not do the right thing we would witness horrific events alike those in Turkey, Iraq, and Syria in Iran.”
