TEHRAN, Jan. 15 (MNA) – Swedish Prime Minister Stefan Löfven will pay a visit to Iran on February 11-12.

Löfven will hold talks and exchange views in the field of trade relations, bilateral cooperation, regional development, and particularly the situation in Syria, with Iranian officials.

A trade delegation composed of representatives of a number of public companies and agencies, led by Sweden's Minister of EU Affairs and Trade Ann Linde, will accompany Löfven on the trip to Iran.

The trade delegation aims at discussing the boost in Sweden's presence in Iran’s emerging market, enterprise development and export strategies to Iran.

During his two-day visit to Iran, Löfven will also meet with President Hassan Rouhani.

Iran has long been one of the most important markets for Swedish exports in the Middle East and a number of Swedish companies are now working in Iran.
