NEW YORK, Dec. 06 (MNA) –The United nations (UN) and the Syrian Arab Red Crescent are still unable to access, with humanitarian aid, the eastern areas in Aleppo, which continue occupied by armed groups, a spokesperson said Monday.

Accordiong to Stephane Dujarric, spokesperson for the UN secretary general, assistance to the victims of the combats is only rendered in areas under control of the Government troops in Aleppo, one of the most affected Syrian cities by the current conflict in Syria that has been on since March, 2011.
Wec are negotiating with the armed groups to go with our aid to the devastated city, where combats continued during the weekend, he told the media.
Dujarric reported that the Syrian Government approved on Friday the humanitarian aid plan presented by the UN for December.
Millions of people need food, water, shelter, medicines and other essential services in Aleppo and many other cities and towns.
