DAMASCUS, Nov. 23 (MNA) – Militants from the Free Syrian Army on Tuesday shelled will mortar rounds and gas-filled canisters a crowd of about 200 civilians who attempted to flee the besieged districts in eastern Aleppo.

The militants bombed he Sheikh Maqsood neighborhood, trying to stop citizens fleeing the besieged part of the city, Rizan Hado, a senior member of the Syrian Democratic Council said.

"Free Syrian Army units shelled the Sheikh Maqsood neighborhood of Aleppo with mortar rounds and gas-filled canisters, preventing safe evacuation of about 200 civilians from the eastern part of the city," Hado said.
