TEHRAN, Nov. 11 (MNA) – In his official visit to Czech capital city of Prague, Iranian FM Zarif met with Jan Hamáček, the President of the Chamber of Deputies of the Parliament of the Czech Republic on Friday.

"Iranian delegation's visit to Prague proves the will for deepening bilateral ties, said Foreign Minister Mohammad Javad Zarif in his meeting with Jan Hamáček, President of the Chamber of Deputies of the Parliament of the Czech Republic.

“We are very delighted about the expansion of bilateral ties between Iran and Czech in all areas of political, economic, and parliamentarian,” he added.

During the meeting with Jan Hamáček, Mr. Zarif announced that Ali Larijani, the Speaker of Iran’s Parliament, will pay an official visit, in the second half of January, to Prague to enhance parliamentarian relations between Iran and Czech.

“The two countries can work on diverse areas of tourism, energy, and industry,” underlined the top diplomat of the Islamic Republic of Iran, “and the big delegation accompanying me proves our determination for deepening bilateral ties.”

“We are happy that the relations of the two countries are in the right track,” asserted the Czech MP, Jan Hamáček, after welcoming Iranian minister, “It has been years since the last time we had an Iranian FM visiting Czech and now it is our honor to host you.”

The Czech parliamentarian articulated that, however, there were interactions in the past at executive and legislative levels. He also voiced hope that Mr. Larijani’s visit to Czech be realized to witness development of bilateral ties more than ever.
