TEHRAN, Nov. 05 (MNA) – Head of the Judiciary Ayatollah Sadegh Amoli Larijani who visited Iraq along with an entourage of judiciary high-ranking officials, described negotiations and the signing of an MoU with the country's judicial system, among the achievements of the trip.

Iranian Judiciary senior officials welcomed Larijani upon his arrival at Mehrabad Airport.

Pointing to the provisions of the Memorandum of Understanding between Iran and the Iraqi Judiciary, Larijani said dealing with smugglers, terrorists, Islamic human rights, the fight against organized crime, drugs and human rights at the international level, were among provisions included in MoU.

The Iraqi side, he underlined, will find access to Iran's achievements and experiences in judicial system.

Amoli Larijani went to Iraq on October 29 to sign 4 legal agreements with Iraqi judiciary authorities. The visit to Baghdad was an official invitation and they discussed diverse issues as extradition of convicts and prisoner swap, as well.
