Speaking during his 32nd provincial tour to Arak, Markazi province, on Sunday, Rouhani said the Joint Comprehensive Plan of Action (JCPOA) means the realization of rights of Iranian nation; it means to export Arak heavy water and UF6 used in Natanz to industrialized countries; "JCPOA has provided the opportunities to export oil, gas, petrochemical and gas condensate to the world."
JCPOA was a victory for the Iranian nation and the Islamic Republic of Iran's policy, Rouhani stressed, adding the nuclear deal was the victory of Leader's advices and prudence as well as 10 to 12 years of resistance against the unjust sanctions.
Rouhani underlined that Iranian people should use the opportunities and atmosphere provided by JCPOA; "it made all foreign trips possible to boost economic growth and to invest in Asia, Europe, the US and all the world to experience thriving trade."
"Why could countries having the same age as Iran export more than $200 billion, while ours is only $50 billion? Do we have to supply wheat, corn, rice and sugar from other countries? Should not we be on the path to self-sufficiency?" he told the meeting.
Rouhani reiterated that $1600 billion foreign capital has entered the country in industry, mine and trade sectors after JCPOA, with contracts signed in this area. "Our economic plans have doubled over the same period," he noted.
President Rouhani went on to add "if yesterday we wanted to walk or run on the track of economic success, chain of sanctions locked our hands; today there is no chain, but we also have to move; the main obstacle is removed providing the grounds for banking relations with the world."
In recent years, he said, countries all over the world has been competing for threatening, imposing sanctions and pressurizing the Islamic Republic; however, today all over the world there is race for more and better communication with Iran.
He ensured a wealthy economic future for Iranian nation, and said "Iran's relations and ties with the world are growing and expanding day after day."
