TEHRAN, Oct. 15 (MNA) – Secretary of International Maritime and Offshore Technologies Exhibition (IRANIMEX) said that more than 24 foreign and 260 domestic firms will participate at the event.

Peiman Masoudzadeh said the exhibition will run from October 18-21 in Kish International Exhibitions Center and will be attended by both private and state-owned companies.

“The event aims to present latest capabilities and achievements of active companies in maritime industry as well as to boost international collaborations and expand relevant industries,” he continued.

Masoudzadeh underlined that IRANIMEX marks Iran’s largest maritime event and it will hopefully turn into the most significant maritime exhibition in the region by taking advantage of post-JCPOA opportunities.

The official further enumerated numerous areas covered at the exhibition including offshore industries, oil, fishery, tourism, environment, oceanology, atmospheric sciences and military industries as well as training and research vessels.

Covering an areas as large as 21 thousand square meters, IRANIMEX will host several countries like Romania, Turkey, Russia, Singapore, France, Italy, Greece, United Arabic Emirates, the Netherlands, China, Belgium, Norway, Germany, Britain, Australia, Croatia, Estonia, Portugal, Spain, India, South Korea and Ukraine.
