HOMS, Oct. 09 (MNA) – A Syrian military source confirmed that two of Jabhat al-Nusra commanders were killed and many vehicles and positions belonging to the Takfiri terrorist organizations were destroyed in airstrikes carried out by the Syrian army air force against their positions in Homs countryside.

SANA reporter in Homs said that the airstrikes targeted Jabhat al-Nusra positions in the area of Ez Eddin in the northern countryside, destroying 5 of the terrorists’ vehicles and killing two commanders of Jabhat al-Nusra who are terrorists Mohammad Mounir Dabbous and Rakan Abu Abdu al-Homs.

Terrorists Waleed al-Issa, Ali al-Boqa'e and Ahmad Bo Homam were also killed in the airstrikes.

Meanwhile, a military source said that the army’s air force destroyed fortifications and gatherings of Jabhat al-Nusra terrorists in the villages of Deir Foul and al-Farhanieh, 12 km to the north of Homs City.

The source indicated that the air force carried out sorties against gatherings and positions of the ISIS terrorists in al-Talila Reserve and to the northeast of the silos in the countryside of Palmyra, destroying a number of vehicles and killing scores of terrorists.
