TEHRAN, July 15 (MNA) – A conference on e-commerce development in Iran is to be held at the initiative of Information Technology Center of Tehran Municipality’s Cultural and Artistic Organization and Amin E-commerce and Information Technology Group.

This conference is part of the series of meetings that intend to familiarize the businessmen with e-commerce. Amin Group’s head of IT and e-commerce Dr. Mohammad Ebrahim Mohammad Baqer stated, “The participants are Dr. Dejpasand, the Commerce Ministry’s deputy for planning and economic studies, authorities in charge, and a group of experts and thinkers in the field, who will present the public and the media with comprehensive plans on e-commerce in Iran and will also evaluate the place of Iran in this internationally widespread business.”

 

The goal is to get the participants and the pubic know more about the government’s strategy and Iran’s status in global e-marketing. Furthermore, the future challenges toward the realization of e-commerce need to be identified and addressed. In continuation of his statement, Mohammad Baqer indicated that ever-increasing growth of e-commerce has encouraged many companies to get active in this field in the last 20 years, and one may now claim that its promotion has flourished the market and competition considerably.

 

Moreover, the head of Amin Group added that the climate of e-commerce enrooted in the internet is to manifest itself beyond the geographical borders, and in this sense, every Iranian deserves to have both knowledge and the means to employ e-trade as a tool for the economic betterment of his/her life.
