TEHRAN, Oct. 01 (MNA) – Ali Mardomi’s ‘Cemetery Men,’ by IYCS’ Urmia branch will compete for trophy in the 13th Filmfest Eberswalde in Germany.

The movie will be Iran’s only representative and will vie for trophy with movies from Poland, France, Portugal, Bulgaria, Switzerland, the Netherlands, Austria, Luxemburg, Germany, Iceland, and Belgium.

This edition of the festival will focus on provincial life style where the local people have been on the peripheries of the mainstream life of the cities. The 13th Filmfest will take place in Eberswalde’s Paul Wunderlich Haus, October 1-8. Once again, the competition will be accompanied by various supporting programs. The short film ‘The Cemetery Men’ is a story of two cemetery men who are competing with each other to do their job as a traditional custom of their culture, in their own way.
