TEHRAN, Sep. 26 (MNA) – Four Iranian movies will go on screen at the 13th Abuja International Film Festival (AIFF) in Nigeria.

The Rainbow Island directed by avant-garde filmmaker Khosrow Sinai, The Promise by Mohammad Ali Talebi, Until Ahmad Arrives directed by Sadegh Daghighi and Tale of Love by Ahmad Ramazanzadeh are 4 Iranian representatives to be displayed at Nigerian event.

The Rainbow Island has a narrative documentary style and its cast includes Mehdi Ahmadi, Tayyebeh Dehghan, Abdolrasoul Darya Peyma, Narges Hormozi, Mostafa Shab-Tari and Mohammad Salamati.

The Promise, which has so far been screened in several festivals including Isfahan, Montreal as well as the Netherlands Cinekid, recounts the story of a boy coming to terms with the death of his best friend, for which he feels partly responsible.

Until Ahmad Arrives focuses on the theme of the Sacred Defense and the sentiments between an Iraqi man and a Iranian girl.

Tale of Love tells a love story in the context of war and addresses a humanitarian disaster that would be part of Iran's history.

Abuja International Film Festival AIFF is the largest and longest running Independent film festival in Anglophone West Africa at the Prestigious Silverbird Cinemas Abuja Nigeria.
