The 17th edition of the tournament kicked off on Saturday in the Philippines where Iran’s Sarmayeh Bank overwhelmed North Korea’s April 25 team in a Pool B encounter.
The Iranian outfit is slated to take on Bangkok Glass team of Thailand on Monday.
Attended by 12 teams who are competing in four pools, the Asian Women’s Club Volleyball Championship began on September 03 and will last until September 11 in the Alonte Sports Arena in Biñan, Laguna in the Philippines.
