TEHRAN, Aug. 21 (MNA) – Iran’s Foreign Ministry spokesman strongly slammed Gaziantep terrorist blast noting the need for serious confrontation of regional countries against such crimes.

Bahram Ghasemi extended his sympathy to the families of victims, Turkish nation and government and strongly condemned the deadly terrorist blast, which killed 50 according to the latest report of the Turkey’s Gaziantep province governor’s office.

“Killing innocent civilians in a wedding ceremony once more proved the vicious and anti-human goals of Takfiri terrorists, showing how threatening is the dangerous phenomenon to the international community,” he said.

Ghasemi underlined “acts of Takfiri extremists has targeted the peace and stability in the region and requires serious countering.”
