The hail and farewell of the new and departing Presidents of Iran’s Supreme National Defense University, respectively Brigadier General Ahmad Vahidi and Major General Mohammad Hossein Bagheri, was held on Thursday morning in Tehran where the new authority offered appreciation for the efforts of his predecessor and touched upon Iran’s defense power in his inauguration speech.
“The binary of Iran-US will continue till the eradication of the evil forces of the world by the good,” said the new president of the strategic university of Iran’s armed forces; “national defense is a big title especially when it is about defending the Iranian nation, and defense is a major part of protecting the honor of Islamic Republic of Iran.”
Referring to the expectations of Major General Mohammad Hossein Bagheri, who has very recently left the president chair of the university to replace Major General Hassan Firouzabadi as the Chief of the General Staff of Armed Forces of the Islamic Republic of Iran, Vahidi contended that the Supreme National Defense University should be thought producer, discourse producer, and trainer of high strategic officials for the country.
“In the current world, full of chaos, oppression, and tyranny, especially against Muslims, something should be done to protect the Islamic nations and Muslims of the world,” articulated the new president, “Iranian armed forces are currently at the highest status of readiness envied by friends, and begrudged by the enemies.”
The former defense minister of Iran asserted that the armed forces of Iran, not only challenge small threats and enemies but also stand against the superpowers of the world.
“The Islamic Republic of Iran should be a source of inspiration for other nations and the other nations and countries of the world, to get free from the corrupt chain system of the west, should follow the system practiced by the Islamic Republic of Iran,” underlined the general.
He boasted that Iran’s security and defense systems are currently quite self sufficient and stable.
