TEHRAN, July 2 (MNA) -- The 4th Tehran Contemporary Sculpture Biennial opens tomorrow at the Saba Art and Cultural Center and runs until August 11.

A total of 239 artworks by 142 artists will be put on display at the exhibition. The winners of the competition section of the biennial the will be announced next week.

 

The jury members of the biennial are Nahid Saliani, Mehdi Hosseini, Farshid Mesqali, Hamid Shans, Nosratollah Moslemian, and Taher Sheikhol-Hokama.

 

In one of the sideline sections of the biennial, an exhibition of artworks by Ali-Akbar Sanati will be held at the Saba Art and Cultural Center, which is located on Mozaffar Street, near Felestin Square. The works are on loan from his galleries in Kerman and Tehran.

 

Sculptors Nahid Saliani and Liliet Therian will also be holding a joint exhibition at the Behzad Gallery in another sideline section program. Fifteen artworks by Saliani and 24 works by Therian will be on display at the gallery, located on 16th Azar St., off of Keshavarz St.

 

In another sideline section program, artworks by sculptors Mohammad-Ali Madadi and Sirus Qaem-Maqami will be put on display at the Artists Forum, which is located on Musavi St., off of Taleqani Avenue.
