TEHRAN, Jul. 26 (MNA) – The second round of talks between Iran's Secretary of Supreme National Security Council (SNSC) Ali Shamkhani and Nasir Khan Janjua, Pakistan’s Advisor to Prime Minister on National Security, was held in Tehran on Tue.

The second round of talks between the two high-ranking officials was held with an aim to discuss measures on how to strengthen bilateral cooperation and remove existing obstacles by adopting necessary executive mechanisms.

Nasir Khan Janjua, who is in Tehran for a 3-day visit on the invitation of Iranian government, met with Shamkhani on Monday where the two sides underscored expansion of security and economic cooperation and voiced concern over the critical situation in Muslim countries due to terrorism.

Janjua also held a meeting with Leader’s Adviser Ali Akbar Velayati on Monday where the two senior officials highlighted the significance of maintaining and improving close ties.
