Pointing to the visit of Bulgarian prime minister to Tehran on Monday, Abdollah Norouzi said Boyko Borisov will head a top-ranking business delegation, main representatives of trade and industrial companies, several major banks, managing director of Bulgar Air and more than 25 reporters, camerapersons and journalists for a two-day visit to Tehran.
Norouzi mentioned Persian Gulf-Black Sea transport corridor as the strategic project that gives access to Europe through Armenia and Georgia.
He called Tehran-Sofia ties as ‘excellent’, saying the most favorable conditions in bilateral relations between the two countries is when the 'joint commission' is created.
“The visit of Bulgaria’s highest-ranking official is a seal of approval to the best status in relationships,” Norouzi added.
Iran-Bulgaria joint commission was held last March, after a break of seven years, he noted.
Regarding the prospects of bilateral relations during post-sanctions era, he said “the highest rise is expected in the economic relations, especially in the fields of investment and transfer of technology.”
