TEHRAN, Jun. 28 (MNA) – Iranian Parliament Speaker Ali Larijani said the US seeks turmoil of investment in Iran pursuing a diplomatic military power to block Iranian influence in the region, despite the nuclear deal.

Addressing a conference commemorating the Judiciary Week on Tuesday, Larijani pointed to the historic nuclear deal between Iran and 5+1 and said Iran accepted the deal with a discerning eye and is waiting for the Americans and Western sides to see what they want to do to save the deal.

Larijani said there seems to be weaknesses in implementation of JCPOA, part of which is related to the comprehensive removal of sanctions, especially in relation to the problems with banking transactions.

“It seems they have created turmoil of investment in Iran despite the recommendations in this respect, trying to intensify the anxieties behind the scenes,” Larijani asserted.

“They have organized a different kind of sanctions claiming to fight against Iran’s hegemony in the region,” Parliament speaker noted.

They also arranged a kind of ‘powerful military presence’ diplomacy to block Iranian influence in the region and provided a large amount of weapons for Saudis; they pretend to be concerned with the fire between Iran and Saudi Arabia, however, they are in fact willing for further deterioration of ties.

Larijani said “we are facing a medium-term political phenomenon, a mischievous behavior which supports regional and international pressure on Iran.”

Stating that creating tensions in the region has been a continuous policy, Larijani said Saudis seem to have no choice but to create tensions in the region due to their lack of success in Yemen and Syria.
