TEHRAN, Jun. 14 (MNA) – Iranian Foreign Minister Mohammad Javad Zarif underlined that Resistance Economy does not mean cutting ties with world, but one which is based on endogeneity and outward-looking policy.

Speaking during an intimate meeting with Iranians living in Norway on Monday, Zarif pointed to their role in truly representing their homeland, as a bridge connecting their motherland and the land they are presently living in.

“All Iranians living abroad, no matter what their political, ethnic affiliations are, do represent the rich culture of Iran,” Iran’s FM underlined.

He described moderation as the basis for Iran’s culture which in association with Islam could offer stunning image of humanity in the world.

“When ignorance prevailed in the world, Iranian culture cried the message of friendship and peace to the world,” Zarif noted, adding “today you are the representatives of this great culture.”

The foreign minister underlined that the best instrument for enhancing dialogue among civilizations is to encourage mutual understanding among people who can facilitate the transfer of concepts through their cultural and personal identity and using the language and culture of the country which is hosting them.

He said thanks to the rich culture of the Iranian nation, the country managed to achieve a remarkable result which the whole world acknowledges as a win-win game.

Pointing to the years of public resistance against the imposed war and sanctions, Zarif further highlighted that Iranian people passed through all problems and showed massive participation in elections to prove they would decide their own fate.
