LATTAKIA, Jun. 13 (MNA) –Terrorists of the so-called "Jaish al-Islam" breached the cessation of hostilities agreement 4 times during the past 24 hours in Damascus Countryside.

The Russian Center for coordinating and monitoring the cessation of hostilities agreement in Syria said in a statement on Sunday that Jaish al-Islam breached the agreement 4 times in Damascus Countryside through targeting positions for the Syrian Arab Army with mortar shells.

The center pointed out that despite of the breaches, the agreement is still holding in general in most Syrian provinces, reminding that the cessation of hostilities does not include ISIL, Jabhat al-Nusra and other internationally listed terrorist organizations.

144 villages and towns are now part of the agreement, said the Center, adding that the number of groups committed to it remains 60.

The total number of breaches since the agreement came into effect on 27 February has reaches 650, committed by terrorist groups mostly in the countryside of Damascus, Aleppo, Homs, Hama and Lattakia, according to the center.
