TEHRAN, Jun. 11 (MNA) – For the very first time, an exhibition of original world cinema posters from 1940-1970 will be held at 'Ace' Gallery in Tehran.

‘Ace’ Art Gallery in Tehran will showcase original world cinema posters from 1940-70 and screen a movie each night at 9:30 local time from June 12, running for one month.

The exhibition includes 98 posters published by the US, France, UK and South Africa, and will welcome artists and cinema lovers from 20:00 to 24:00 on Sunday for the opening of the posters exhibition.

In the first ten days, 31 posters will be put on display and the rest of the posters will go on exhibit in the next two turns so that every ten days they posters will change.

In addition to the posters exhibit, memorable films that have not been broadcast or were less seen in local TV channels will go on screen for the movie enthusiasts. These classic films include El Cid (1961) by Anthony Mann, How the West Was Won (1962) by John Ford, Hatari! (1962) by Howard Hawks, One-Eyed Jacks (1961) by Marlon Brando, and many more vintage titles.

Those interested in the posters exhibit can visit Ace Art Gallery located on Shariati St. every day from 10 AM to 23 PM free of charge or stay to watch a classic movie at 9:30 PM.
