TEHRAN, May 17 (MNA) – Representatives of the United World Wrestling have been named for Greco-Roman World Cup to be held on May 19-20 in Shiraz.

Greco-Roman World Cup will take place on May 19-20 in Shiraz, Iran,. and will be hosted by the Iran Wrestling Federation while the competition will be supervised by United World Wrestling (UWW) delegates Kim Ik Jong and Dulat Turlikhanov.

Moreover, the annual meeting of UWW’s scientific commission will be held in shiraz before the start of the 2016 World Cup and will be attended by members of the commission.

The government Turley Khanvf as Chairman of Kazakhstan, Ioannis Barbas from Greece, February Mirzaee of Iran, Boris Pvdlyvayvf of Russia and Professor Harold Tvnvmn of Germany as members of the Commission will be present at the meeting.

The first top teams of the Greco-Roman event in Shiraz will be awarded with 25, 15 and 10 thousand dollars of prize money, respectively.

Group A of Greco-Roman World Cup will comprise Russia, Belarus, Germany and Kazakhstan while Group B features Azerbaijan, Turkey, Ukraine and host Iran.

Azerbaijan won the title of Greco-Roman World Cup last year in Tehran while Iran claimed gold of Freestyle World Cup champions in last year’s gold medal final in the US.
