TEHRAN, May 17 (MNA) – President of Croatia Kolinda Grabar-Kitarović will arrive in Tehran Tuesday evening for a three-day visit at the official invitation of her Iranian counterpart, President Hassan Rouhani.

Deputy for communications and information at the president’s office, Parviz Esmaeili, made the announcement on Monday, adding “President Kolinda Grabar-Kitarović will arrive in Tehran on May 17 and will be officially welcomed by President Rouhani in the cultural and historical complex of Sa'adabad in north of Tehran on Wednesday.”

Following the introductions between the two side’s high-ranking delegations, the two premiers will hold official negotiations, said Esmaeili.

A number of MoUs will also be signed by the two countries’ senior officials in the presence of President Rouhani and President Grabar-Kitarović. Following the signing ceremony, the two presidents will attend a joint press conference.

“The Croatian president is also scheduled to attend a session of Iran and Croatia’s economic agents and private sectors on Wednesday,” Esmaeili said. “She will then meet with a number of senior Iranian officials.”

According to him, a number of cultural programs have been scheduled for President Grabar-Kitarović to attend on Thursday, after which she will leave Tehran for Zagreb.
