TEHRAN, May 03 (MNA) – Signing an MoU on Tuesday in Tehran, Iranian and Greek officials agreed to cooperate in the field of stock exchange markets and securities.

A Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) was signed by Charalampos Gotsis, the head of the Hellenic Republic Capital Market Commission (or Greek Capital Market Commission), and Mohammad Fetanat, the president of the Securities and Exchange Organization of Iran (SEO) on Tuesday on the sidelines of the 8th International Course on Islamic Capital Market in Tehran.

According to the signed agreement the two countries cooperate on the areas of exchanging information, expertise and experience. Holding educational workshops at different levels via video-conference in both countries is another article of the deal.

The 8th edition of International Course on Islamic Capital Market is organized and executed by the Securities and Exchange Organization of Iran (SEO) and the three day event is scheduled to be closed on Wednesday.
