ASTANA, Apr. 26 (MNA) – The Eurasian Media Forum (EAMF) that took place in Astana last week gathered 400 international politicians, and journalists to discuss the main issues on the international agenda. In session 2 of the EAMF, with MNA representative in attendance, the crisis in the Middle East and the geopolitical consequences of the 'conversion process' in the region were discussed.

Speakers of Session #2 include Hamid Karzai, former President of Afghanistan, Ahmed El Sayed El Naggar, Chariman of the Board, 'Al-Ahram' Media Holding, Arthur Denaco, British former Advisor to the Defense Ministry, Hisham Jaber, General Manager of Lebanon's Middle East Center for Studies and Public Relations, and Maxim Suchkov, Russian political analyst. 

The topics discussed include conflicts in Syria, Afghanistan and Yemen, aims of US, EU and NATO in the Middle East, the emergence of ISIL and the prospects of oil market.
