TEHRAN, Apr. 16 (MNA) – Iranian minister of communications headed for Turkey on Saturday to enhance bilateral cooperation.

Minister of Communications and Information Technology Mahmoud Vaezi, who is also co-chairman of Joint Iran-Turkey Economic, Commercial and Cultural Commission, left Tehran for Ankara to enhance the level of cooperation between the two countries, following the visit by President Rouhani to Ankara on Saturday.

The final negotiations to sign documents and agreements between the two countries will take place during Vaezi’s visit to Turkey.

The two sides will discuss and consult over the expansion of cooperation and agreements in areas such as transportation, gas, tourism, cultural exchange, banking transactions, oil, automotive industry, agricultural products, textiles, clothing, necessary endeavors for the promotion of commercial relations, transportation, communication, customs and border cooperation and development of cultural relations between the two countries due to the commonalities.
