Ali Akbar Velayati, former foreign minister and current head of Iran's Strategic Research Center, in a message on his Instagram page congratulated the New Year to Iranian people as well as all those interested in the country saying “the previous Iranian year marked a year replete with great successes for the country and the nation under the genius guidance of the Leader of the Islamic Revolution which was culminated with the massive turnout in February twin elections.”
Leader’s senior adviser went on to add that “in the last year, people were present in all scenes as always demonstrating their support of the Islamic Revolution.”
“We are obliged to appreciate efforts and company of the Iranian nation,” underlined Velayati urging the country’s officials to better serve the great people and alleviate their obstacles.
He also pointed to one of the most important events of the previous year adding “Iran’s nuclear issue was resolved while we need to make an effort for strict implementation of the reached accord in order to reach its achievements as emphasized by the Leader.”
He further wished dignity, good health by God’s grace for the Iranian people inside and outside the country; “in the new Iranian year, we will hopefully observe more achievements and authority on the part of the Islamic Revolution with the backing of the respected nation.”
