“During the nuclear talks the Western powers understood that Iran’s missile program and defensive power are not negotiable; there is no justification for the propaganda and deceitful stances against Iran’s drills,” said Deputy Chief of Staff of the Iranian Armed Forces Brigadier General Masoud Jazayeri noting the reactions by some Western officials to Eghtedar-e Velayat wargame.
He underlined “they need to know that the sanctions and resolutions have not affected the advancement process of Iran’s defensive capabilities; imposing new sanctions and issuing new resolutions not only would not prevent the progress, but also would speed it up.”
“The Western powers are looking for weakening Iran’s power and deteriorating its security under baseless interpretations of JCPOA and through the infiltration efforts,” warned general.
Noting the regional issues and threats, General Jazayeri asserted that Iran’s missile program is a preventive power vital for country’s security.
