TEHRAN, Feb. 18 (MNA) – Iran’s Greco-Roman wrestlers stand at the first place of 2016 Asian Wrestling Championships in Bangkok, Thailand.

Iran bagged four gold medals by wrestlers Afshin Biabangard (71 kg), Ramin Taheri (80 kg), Mehdi Aliyari (98 kg) and Amir Ghasemi Monjazi (130 kg).

The only silver medal was received by Saman Abdevali of 59 kg weight class, while the wrestlers Mehdi Zeidvand (66 kg) and Payam Boyeri (75 kg) grabbed bronze.

Iran ranked first by 71 points and Kazakhstan (58 points) and Kirgizstan (49 points) stand at second and third place, respectively.
