He appreciated the assassinated nuclear scientist martyrs for their perseverance and courage who continued their rightful path despite all existing threats and dangers.

“Today we need to be grateful to the great Iranian nation who stood in all scenes without fearing the great powers,” added the Iranian President.

He touched upon the importance of unity in the country stressing “a united nation always remains great and honorable as we have seen throughout the history of the Islamic Revolution.”

“The Leader has always provided us with priceless comments and guidelines; he supported us during the course of nuclear talks by defining a good framework and the negotiators did their best not to let the Leader down,” he continued emphasizing that no success would have been achieved without the presence of the Leader.

Hassan Rouhani further appreciated the efforts and influential roles of all cabinet members as well as relevant organizations including the Iranian Foreign Ministry, the Ministry of Defense, Atomic Energy Organization of Iran as well as the armed forces who thwarted all attacks providing peace and security inside the country.

“The enemies had imposed severe economic sanctions against the Iranian nation while now we can follow the path of investment, technology and partnership removing all the burdens by equipping the country with new airplanes and high-speed trains,” he added.

He also noted that the Joint Comprehensive Plan of Action (JCPOA) was merely implemented due to the great nation of Iran and the Medals of Honor were awarded to some authorities on behalf of the nation.

“We feel proud of the achievement since it forced the US president, who is seemingly the highest military and economic power in the world, to acknowledge the Fatwa of Iran’s Leader,” continued Rouhani.
