LONDON, Feb. 06 (MNA) – 45 percent of British people prefer to leave the European Union (EU), while 36 percent favor permanence, according to poll results published today, showing an increase in the difference between both options.

The poll taken by YouGov, published in the newspaper The Times, said those in favor of the so-called Brexit increased in 3 percent, compared to the last poll by the same pollster, reaching the highest level now.

The poll showed the existence of a large number of indecisive people, who represent 19 percent.

By 2017, the United Kingdom has planned to hold a referendum on possible withdrawal from the EU but before, Prime Minister David Cameron is carrying out a negotiation process to approve reforms in the bloc that favor permanence.

London is expected to reach an agreement on the issue with its partners in the European Council, scheduled for February 18-19.
