Iran's Deputy Foreign Minister for Arab and African Affairs Hossein Amir-Abdollahian issued a congratulatory message offering greetings to both the army and the nation of Syria over the liberation of two major towns in the northern province of Aleppo.
Nubbul and Zahraa were under the siege of the terrorist groups for three-and-a-half-year cut from humanitarian aid to women and children.
‘The almost four year old blockade on the towns and blockade of humanitarian aid to women and children, demonstrated the savagery of the terrorists in the area,’ reads in part of Amir-Abdollahian’s message.
The Iranian official reiterated that the terrorist have no place in the future of Syria and only those opposition groups who believe in a political solution will be present in UN-moderated Geneva talks on Syrian crisis.
