Managing Director of National Iranian Oil Refining and Distribution Company (NIORDC) Abbas Kazemi touched upon the implementation of new gasoline production projects stating “currently, the gasoline production unit of Isfahan oil refinery has been put into working order leading to increased quality.”
Kazemi recalled that Isfahan Refinery is capable of more than 7 million liters of gasoline per day with euro-4 specifications asserting.
“The project of increasing gasoline production of Bandar Abbas Refinery is 96 per cent through,” stressed the official estimating that the project will become operational by the end of the current Iranian calendar year.
Deputy oil minister further emphasized that Bandar Abbas Refinery gasoline capacity is currently 8 million liters per day which reach 12 million liters by installing new process, utility and offsite units in the existing refinery in order to increase premium euro-4 grade gasoline output.
“Lavan Refinery is also being upgraded in order to reach a total gasoline output of 2 to 2.2 million liters which meet meets euro-4 standard obligations,” he continued.
Kazemi maintained that the country’s euro-4 gasoline production capacity has reached 24 million liters per day emphasizing “Shazand Arak, Isfahan and Tabriz oil refineries are currently producing gasoline with euro 4 specifications.”
