TEHRAN, Jan. 23 (MNA) – Deputy foreign minister for Asian and Pacific affairs will depart for Tajikistan to meet the Central Asian country’s authorities.

Iran's Deputy Foreign Minister for Asian and Pacific Affairs Ebrahim Rahimpour will leave Tehran for Dushanbe on Monday January 25.

Rahimpour is scheduled to meet Tajik officials discussing expansion of bilateral ties, as well as the latest regional and international developments.

Discussing the need for cooperation in dealing with extremism and terrorism as well as the possible opportunities to boost economic ties in the post-JCPOA era would be on the agenda as well.
