TEHRAN, Jan. 20 (MNA) – Deputy FM underlined the implementation of JCPOA and cancellation of sanctions will create a good atmosphere for renewing cooperation between Iran and Czech.

Czech Republic’s Minister of Industry and Trade Jan Mladek, who is in Iran on the head of a 60-member delegation of economic and industrial actors, met with Iranian Deputy Foreign Minister for European and American Affairs Majid Takht-Ravanchi here on Tuesday to discuss bilateral issues.

During the meeting, the two sides stressed a mutual determination to develop and diversify the economic and industrial relations between the two countries.

Expressing satisfaction over the cooperation trend, Takht-Ravanchi said the two countries have exchanged delegations in different levels during the past year.

The implementation of JCPOA and sanctions removal will provide atmosphere for the resumption and development of cooperation between the two countries especially in the economic sector with attaching top priority to technology transfer and investment. "Iran's Foreign Ministry supports for all mechanisms of agreements and joint economic commissions in this regard."

Mladek, for his part, underlined that lifting of sanctions will increase grounds for further cooperation. "Iran is interested to hold a joint economic commission with the Czech Republic," he expressed welcome.

Asserting that the current trade volume between the two countries remains very low, Mladek expressed hope that the visit would lead to an increase in mutual cooperation, especially between private sectors of the two countries, considering existing potentials both sides enjoy.
