Heading a nuclear delegation, including Deputy Foreign Minister Seyed Abbas Araghchi, Head of Atomic Energy Organization of Iran (AEOI) Ali Akbar Salehi and Spokesman of the AEOI Behrouz Kamalvandi, Zarif departed Tehran for Vienna in order to talk over JCPOA and Iran’s nuclear deal with US and European counterparts.
US Secretary of State John Kerry, also will head to Vienna on Saturday over Iran nuclear deal.
On Saturday, following the release of the IAEA’s final report to verify Tehran’s compliance with its obligations under the JCPOA reached last July, Zarif and Federica Mogherini, in a joint statement on Saturday, will announce the due date for the implementation of JCPOA, according to which all illegal sanctions against Iran will be removed entirely.
White House Press Secretary Josh Earnest told a news briefing on Friday that Iran has made important progress in its effort to implement the nuclear agreement.
