Speaking at a meeting attended by banking managers and economic actors on Monday, Majid Takht Ravanchi pointed to the implementation of JCPOA in the coming days and said, “Based on final agreement on July 14, all economic, commercial, financial and banking sanctions will be removed and henceforth Iran will face no sanctions formerly imposed by Europe and the US.”
Meanwhile, he added, the US President Obama has given a written commitment to abolish the sanctions, as well as the European Union which has approved guidelines indicating that the sanctions not only have been removed on paper but also in practice and there would be no new directions for their cancelation since the time JCPOA is implemented.
Iran’s deputy foreign minister called banking system to be prepared for the launch of LC, since there is no legal ban over the issue.
