The event, to be held in this capital from November 30th to December 11th, will focus on the central debates, while concerts and festive events will be canceled, declared RTL radio.
The announcement comes three days after the attacks that caused 129 deaths and over 350 wounded in Paris.
The world event will be focused on limiting the global temperature increase to the recommended level of two degrees Celsius in this century. If that limit is exceeded, the world will face a future plagued by drought, floods, and a devastating sea level rise, warn the scientists.
Negotiations will have to raise the commitment to reduce emissions and focus primarily on loss and damage, adaptation, mitigation and financing, they say.
The climate exchanges will bring together delegations from over 190 countries. Some 120 heads of State or Government and their delegations are expected to attend.
