TEHRAN, Nov. 01 (MNA) – The second meeting of Iran’s ambassadors and heads of diplomatic missions to other countries will be held on Monday with President Rouhani in attendance.

During the meeting, the latest developments and issues on foreign relations with a focus on the current situation in the region, impacts of the JCPOA, economic plans and creating new capacities with respect to future opportunities will be discussed with the attending ambassadors and heads of diplomatic missions to foreign countries.

The meeting will be inaugurated by President Hassan Rouhani’s speech and follow speeches delivered by heads of Legislative and Judiciary branches.

A number of Iranian high-ranking political and economic officials will also attend the session and exchange views with ambassadors and heads of diplomatic missions to other countries on the aforementioned topics.

Iran’s Foreign Ministry officials, ambassadors and heads of diplomatic missions were received by Leader Ayat. Khamenei this morning, during which the Leader outlined Iran’s foreign policy as predicated upon long-term interests, principles and values of the country, stressing that the policy will not change with administrations holding different political views.
