Speaking at the ceremony of Iran’s National Exports Day on Tuesday, Iranian Foreign Minister Mohammad Javad Zarif noted that Iran has now entered a new phase that has put a stop to a dark period in which certain countries had portrayed Iran as a security threat to the world, creating an stifling atmosphere where any attempts at communication with Iran would be costly.
“The dreadful phrase they used in regard to world interactions with Iran, namely ‘the reputational price for cooperating with Iran,’ provoked the anger and hatred of every Iranians toward anyone who would employ this anti-Iranian project to demonize the Islamic Republic,” said Zarif, stressing that today all those efforts have proven futile, calling on the nation to make the best of the new situation.
Zarif further added that the structure of Iranophobia during the sanctions era has now crumbled on the international scene.
The Iranian diplomat also maintained that a special seminar with the presence of Iranian ambassadors to all countries will be held in early November with the objective to turn the psychological atmosphere of the post-sanction era into reality in a bid to boost the country's economic status.
