TEHRAN, Oct. 13 (MNA) – Foreign Minister of Lebanon Gebran Gerge Bassil will pay an official visit to Tehran soon, a Beirut-based newspaper reported.

The visit is based on an official invitation of Iranian side to hold talks over bilateral ties and regional developments.

The event will be Bassil’s first time visit to Iran since he took office as the leader of the Free Patriotic Movement.

Earlier, Bassil met Iranian Ambassador to Lebanon Mohammad Fathi and discussed Tehran-Beirut relations as well as the latest developments in the region.
