DAMASCUS, Oct. 12 (MNA) – Two F-16 fighters, part of the US-led coalition, violated the Syrian air space once more and caused significant damage at two power stations in the province of Aleppo.

Military sources told the media on Sunday that two fighters, the country of origin of which is not known, overflew the area of Al-Farwaniya, to the east of the city of Aleppo, around 350 kilometers northeast from this capital.

During the illegal incursion, the fighters bombed two power stations, causing serious damage.

This military action caused serious power cuts in the area, affecting the civil population.

According to Armed Forces' spokespeople, the attack was carried out at 10:00 hours, local time, on Saturday.

The Syrian Government has condemned repeatedly the illegal military incursions by this coalition, led by Washington, considering unable to confront the terrorist groups.

In recent statements, Syrian Information Minister Omran al-Zoabi called this coalition a big lie and the real situation confirms its failure, despite the selectivity of its targets.
