TEHRAN, Oct. 6 (MNA) – The British economic delegation consisting of the Chairman and Director General of the British-Iranian Chamber of Commerce visited Tehran Stock Exchange (TSE) on Monday.

A British trade delegation consisting of the Chairman and Director General of the British-Iranian Chamber of Commerce, Richard Dalton and Martin Johnson respectively, as well as the accompanying members visited Tehran Stock Exchange’s trading floor.

Having visited the trading floor of TSE, the group met with the President and CEO of the Tehran Stock Exchange Hassan Ghalibaf and some board members getting familiar with trading mechanisms.

Various topics were raised and dealt with at the meeting including the privatization process, the composition of listed companies, industry diversity, potentials of Iran’s economy as well as mechanisms of foreign investment.

At the end of the meeting, the British side expressed hope that Iran’s market will be open to investors from different countries after the removal of sanctions.
