TEHRAN, Sep. 30 (MNA) – Chief Executive Officer at Oil Industries Engineering & Construction Co. announced the possibility of the presence of US oil companies in IPC conference in Tehran.

Rokneddin Javadi asserted that holding the conference in Tehran was due to the new atmosphere in the country and the willingness of many foreign companies to be present in Iran’s market.

He underlined that, now many big oil companies are opening and activating their offices in Tehran.

Mr. Javadi reiterated that US oil companies are likely to attend the conference, however, final decision has not been disclosed yet.

Whether US companies will face any restrictions regarding investment in Iran, Javadi said the government imposes no restrictions to their presence and work in the country. “American companies’ activity and work in Iran is possible under the IPC."

According to him, the companies which miss Tehran conference could attend London conference.

The conference, which is to introduce new model of Iran's oil contracts called Iran Petroleum Contract (IPC), will also unveil oil development projects to the foreign investors.
