TEHRAN, Sep. 21 (MNA) – On the second day of 8th-final round of Iran’s Hazfi Cup Saipa, Tractorsazi and Perspolis won and got to quarterfinals.

In Mashhad, Siahjamegan hosted Saipa in Samen Stadium of the city where the event game ended 0-0 after 120 minutes and the penalty shoot-outs ended with 3-1 victory of the visitors.

In Qom, Daie’s team loses a penalty to concede to another penalty of the day 8 minutes later and Tractorsazi converts this penalty to be the second visiting team of the day to defeat the hosts.

Tractorsazi’s goalkeeper Mehrdad Tahmasbi was sent off at 72nd minute when the referee awarded the hosts a penalty kick but Mohammad-Reza Akhbari who got in after Tahmasbi was shown a red card, disappointed Karim Eslami and saved visitors for the rest of the event.

In Tehran, the red giants of Tehran who had lost their last fixture in Iran’s Pro League of soccer managed to edge pass visiting white swans of Anzali at Azadi Stadium of the capital city.

Perspolis and Malavan ended scoreless after the second half to start the extra time when in the 100th minute of the first extra time Taromi scored for the reds to let Perspolis into the quarter-finals of Iran’s Hazfi Cup.
