TEHRAN, Sep. 10 (MNA) – Iran’s deputy minister of cooperative labor and social welfare met with Chinese ambassador to Iran for expanding ties in vocational and technical fields.

Iran’s Deputy Minister of Cooperative Labor and Social Welfare Kourosh Parand announced that Iran and China should develop cooperation in vocational and technical fields, saying that Iran’s Technical and Vocational Training Organization (TVTO) is affiliated to the ministry and its main educations are in the fields of industry, agriculture and social welfare.

Talking about the international section of TVTO, he added “The center has trained 500 teachers from different countries namely Afghanistan, Iraq, Tanzania, Zanzibar and Burundi. TVTO is indeed an international center enjoying great educational equipments and facilities.”

The Iranian official further invited Chinese ambassador to Iran to visit the center.

Iran has so far established consortium with The Korea International Cooperation Agency (KOICA), Japan International Cooperation Agency (JICA) and Afghanistan, he said and added “TVTO is ready to expand its cooperation with China.”

For his part, Chinese Ambassador to Iran Pang Sen stressed on expanding bilateral ties particularly in vocational and technical fields.
